Chapter 4 第四章
Nick peered carefully through his telescope
尼克小心地透过望远镜向外看去。
Theres a Light at the back of the yellow house , he thought .
在那栋黄房子后面有亮灯，他想。
 ' It was on this morning and last night too. 
那个灯今天早上和昨天晚上都亮着。
Nick Leapt up immediately .
尼克立刻爬起来。
 He was still sick , but he needed to find Mrs Happy.
他依旧病的十分严重，但是他必须要找到快乐夫人
He got his torch from underneath his bed.
他从他的床底下翻出了他的手电筒。
" Meg , please can you help ?'' asked Nick . 'I have to visit the yellow house. ''
“梅格，拜托了，你能帮帮忙吗？”尼克问道，“我必须去拜访那栋黄房子。”
''You need to rest ,'' said Meg. 
“你需要休息。”梅格说到。
''I'm too worried ,''said Nick . ''If you won't help me , I'll go on my own. ''
“我太担心了，”尼克说到，“如果你不能帮我，那我就自己去。”
Meg knew that was dangerous .
梅格知道这很危险，
 Nick was very sick .
尼克病的很重。
 She got her torch and helped Nick go downstairs.她也翻出了她的手电筒，然后帮助尼克下楼。
The children walked to the end of the road . 
孩子们走向马路的尽头。
They saw the Light at the back of the house. 
他们看到在房子后方有亮着的灯光。
“Let's follow this path , said Meg . 
“顺着这条小路走吧，”梅格说。
But as she walked along it , a dark shape appeared . It growled at her. 
但是当她沿着路走进去时，一个黑色的暗影出现了，冲着她咆哮。
Nick shone his torch at the dark shape . 
It was small and brown. 
尼克将他的手电照向那个黑影，它很小还是棕色的。
'' It's Mrs Happy's dog ! ' he said
“它是快乐夫人的小狗。”尼克说。
The dog barked and ran to the back of the house小狗叫着，然后跑到房子的后方去了。
''I think it wants us to follow . '' said Nick
“我想它是叫我们跟着它。”尼克说
The dog took them to a window. 
小狗带着他们来到一扇窗户前。
''It's open ! ''said Meg .'' Let's climb in. ''
“它开着，”梅格说，“咱们爬进去吧。”
The children were in the kitchen . Nick spotted Mrs Happy on the floor. 
孩子们来到了厨房，尼克在地板上发现了快乐夫人。
" You're the boy with the telescope. ''
“你是那个有望远镜的男孩，”
she said weakly . ''I'm so glad you're here . I fell down and hurt my leg . Can you help ?''
她虚弱的说，“你们能来我太高兴了，我摔倒了还伤了我的腿，你们能帮个忙吗？”
Meg knew first aid , and she immediately  helped Mrs Happy .
梅格会急救技能，然后他马上开始帮助快乐夫人。
 Nick called an ambulance .
尼克叫来了救护车
 It came quickly and took Mrs Happy to the hospital. 
救护车很快来到了，它把快乐夫人送去了医院。


chapter 5 第五章
One week Later , Nick was almost well again . 
一周以后，尼克基本已经痊愈了。
He was going to school soon , but first , he wanted to see Mrs Happy. 
他很快就会回到学校去，但在首先，他想去看看快乐夫人。
Nick walked to the yellow house . 
尼克走到黄房子那里
The little brown dog wagged its tail as soon as Nick walked in. 
当他走进去的时候，那只棕色的小狗马上冲着他摇尾巴。
Mrs Happy was sitting in her Living room . 
快乐夫人坐在她的客厅里面。
She had a cast on her broken leg. 
她的腿上打了一个石膏。
''I've got a present for you , ' said Nick.
我给你带来了个礼物，”尼克说。
He put a huge box onto Mrs Happys table
他把一个大盒子放在快乐夫人的桌子上。
" Your telescope ! ' said Mrs Happy. 
“你的望远镜！”快乐夫人说到。
Mrs Happy watched the street every day . 
快乐夫人现在每天都拿望远镜看街道上的景色。
She told Nick about Mr Blue Trousers and Ms Bed Head. 
她跟尼克说关于蓝裤子先生和赖床女士的事情。
Finally , Mrs Happy's leg got better. 
最后，快乐夫人的腿终于好了
She and Nick walked down their beautiful , interesting street together . It was a wonderful day
她和尼克一起漫步在他们美丽又有趣的街道上，今天真是美好的一天呀。
