I Need U(2)

Cr.ins@zyxzjs

My grandparents met at the age of 25. There were no wedding ceremony nor a ring symbolizing eternal love when my grandpa proposed to my grandma like the older generations have had. Their marriage had a most ordinary start, but have overcome many hardships and spent 50 springs and autumn together.

I always dreamed of having a relationship like theirs. However, the thought that they didn’t have a wedding ceremony had saddened me, which is why I wanted to give them the chance to cherish a romantic moment.

I planned a trip with them and realized it was the first time they were going this far away from home. When they were packing, grandpa also packed the old cassette tape and player in his bag. And since she dose not know how to play it but loves to listen to music, grandpa said that he wants to set it up for her for as long as he is beside her.

Love may be like a habit, it may be something new, a scene from a touching movie, a book, or a song, but I believe that love is the willingness to do something thousands of times for a loved one no matter how small the action may be.

It’s that I need u.

Today’s key points:

My grandparents met at the age of 25.

There were no wedding ceremony nor a ring symbolizing eternal love when my grandpa proposed to my grandma like the older generations have had.

> symbolize [ˈsɪmbəˌlaɪz]

vt.

Eg. Shaped like a full moon, the cakes symbolize family reunion and happiness.

Eg. Their performance and courage symbolize the true spirit.

> eternal [ɪˈtɜ:rnl]

adj.

Eg. A wedding ring is a symbol of eternal love between a married couple.

Eg. Eternal glory to the people's heroes!

> older ['oʊldər]

adj.

Eg. My younger son is five and my elder son is nine.

Eg. His elder son got married last week.

Eg. When you are older , you will be stronger.

Eg. Tom is two years older than I.

Their marriage had a most ordinary start, but have overcome many hardships and spent 50 springs and autumn together.

I always dreamed of having a relationship like theirs.

However, the thought that they didn’t have a wedding ceremony had saddened me,

> ceremony [ˈserəmoʊni]

Eg. Its my great honor to attend this grand graduation ceremony.

Eg. The opening ceremony started with the national anthem of China.

Eg. Don't be timid. You can behave without ceremony here.

> sadden [ˈsædn]

Eg. We were deeply saddened by the news.

Eg. Don't waste time, we did not have time to sigh and sadden.

which is why I wanted to give them the chance to cherish a romantic moment.

> cherish [ˈtʃɛrɪʃ]

vt.

Eg. You have enriched my life beyond measure, and I cherish you so much.

Eg. Cherish the memory of those days in Paris.

I planned a trip with them and realized it was the first time they were going this far away from home.

When they were packing, grandpa also packed the old cassette tape and player in his bag.

And since she dose not know how to play it but loves to listen to music, grandpa said that he wants to set it up for her for as long as he is beside her.

Love may be like a habit, it may be something new,

a scene from a touching movie,

a book, or a song,

but I believe that love is the willingness to do something thousands of times for a loved one no matter how small the action may be.

It’s that I need u.
