Bright and Clear(1)

Paulownia begins to bloom, voles transform into quails, rainbow begin to appear

15°

4th to 6th day of the 4th month

Qing Ming (Chinese Tomb Sweeping Day),the sky clears and the grounds are bright, everything shines radiantly. Everything is so clear, when the rainbow appears in the sky, it is apparent that a storm must have passed by before.

One can only understand after having truly experienced, seen, and heard it all. With a little bit of what you love, getting a taste of yourself through what you love.

Like a balloon floating in mid-air

I’ve forgotten which book I’d seen this from—humans are a type of animal whose consciousness is easily controlled, once we develop a self-righteous “sense of superiority”, there will be no precipitant in our hearts. When we no longer have our own attitudes, no longer have a mind of our own, only then do we need to gamer adoration and support from the crowd, so as to gain acknowledgement from others.

Regarding the competition (I took part in) in my youth, it could be considered as the ending of a small phase for me. But if it is thought of from another perspective, it could then be considered as the beginning of my life.

Today’s key points:

Bright and Clear(1)

清明

Paulownia begins to bloom, voles transform into quails, rainbow begin to appear

15°

4th to 6th day of the 4th month

Qing Ming (Chinese Tomb Sweeping Day),the sky clears and the grounds are bright, everything shines radiantly.

> radiantly ['reɪdɪrntlɪ]

adv.

Eg. He smiled radiantly and embraced her.

radiant [ˈreɪdiənt]

adj.

Eg. Out on the bay the morning is radiant.

Eg. On her wedding day the bride looked truly radiant.

Everything is so clear, when the rainbow appears in the sky,

it is apparent that a storm must have passed by before.

> apparent [əˈpærənt, əˈpɛr-]

adj.

Eg. It is apparent to me that she is lying.

Eg. The person may become dizzy for no apparent reason.

One can only understand after having truly experienced, seen, and heard it all.

With a little bit of what you love, getting a taste of yourself through what you love.

Like a balloon floating in mid-air

> float [floʊt]

vt.

Eg. Balloons float in the air as boats float on water.

Eg. A fresh egg will sink and an old egg will float.

I’ve forgotten which book I’d seen this from—

humans are a type of animal whose consciousness is easily controlled,

once we develop a self-righteous “sense of superiority”,

there will be no precipitant in our hearts.

When we no longer have our own attitudes, no longer have a mind of our own,

only then do we need to gamer adoration and support from the crowd, so as to gain acknowledgement from others.

> adoration [ˌædəˈreʃən]

Eg. I adore apples and eat two a day.

adore [əˈdɔr, əˈdor]

vt.

Eg. I did not tell anyone of my adoration for her.

Eg. Ever since I have known you I adore you more every day.

> so as to 以便;为了

Eg. She got up early so as to catch the first bus.

Eg. Let's hurry up so as not to be late for class.

辨析 so as to与in order to:

两者后都+动词原形,表示“为了”,但 in order to可以放在句首,而so as to则不可

Regarding the competition (I took part in) in my youth,

it could be considered as the ending of a small phase for me.

But if it is thought of from another perspective,

> perspective [pərˈspektɪv]

adj.透视的

Eg. There can be one or more views in a perspective.

Eg. Remember to keep things in perspective.

it could then be considered as the beginning of my life.
