国风·秦风·驷驖

驷驖孔阜，六辔在手。公之媚子，从公于狩。
奉时辰牡，辰牡孔硕。公曰左之，舍拔则获。
游于北园，四马既闲。輶车鸾镳，载猃歇骄。


Winter Hunting

Holding in hand six reins
Of four iron-black steeds,
Our lord hunts on the plains
With good hunters he leads.


The male and female preys
Have grown to sizes fit.
"Shoot at the left!" he says;
Their arrows go and hit.

He comes to northern park
With his four steeds at leisure;
Long-and short-mouthed hounds bark
In the carriage of pleasure.
