“Raya! Raya!” 

“拉雅!拉雅!”

Raya came to in darkness. Someone was calling her name. The sound seemed to be coming from far away. She pushed herself up. The movement made her feel dizzy and sick. Her forehead throbbed. For a second, she struggled to understand what was happening. 

拉雅在黑暗中醒来。有人在叫她的名字，声音似乎从很远的地方传来。她支撑自己爬起来，这动作令她头晕恶心。她的额头在抽搐着。她花了一小会儿想弄清楚发生了什么。

With horror, Raya realized why it was so dark. The Druun had hemmed them in on every side, raging around them like a violent storm. Tong, Boun, Noi, and Namaari stood together with their backs to one another. They waved their Gem pieces, trying vainly to hold the monsters off.

拉雅惊恐地意识到为什么天这么黑。黑魔从四面八方包围了他们，同剧烈的暴风一般怒吼。老藤、阿波、小糯和纳马丽背靠背站在一起。他们挥舞着宝石碎片，企图抵挡它们，但好像起不了什么作用。

Raya discovered her own Gem shard was still clutched in her fist. She staggered to her feet and joined them.
“The Gem’s magic is almost gone!” cried Boun.

拉雅发现她自己的宝石碎片依然攥在她掌心。她踉踉跄跄地走去加入了他们。 “宝石的魔法快没了!”阿波喊道。

The Gem pieces, once so bright, now had only a dull sheen.

曾经明亮的宝石碎片如今只闪着微光。

Growling, Tong slashed his shard at a Druun, as if he was swinging his axe. The Druun shrank back, but only for a moment. Two more Druun advanced. “They aren’t backing off!” he shouted.

老藤咆哮着拿他的宝石朝黑魔挥去，就像在挥舞一柄斧子。

黑魔退缩了，但这只持续了一会儿。又有两只黑魔涌上来。“没法让它们退后了!”他喊道。

“They’re everywhere!” Boun exclaimed.

“它们到处都是!”阿波大声说。

Raya heard a soft plink and looked down. The dragon pendant had fallen from Namaari’s pocket. Raya leaned over and picked it up.

拉雅听到一声轻响，便低头去看。神龙挂坠从纳马丽的口袋里掉了出来。拉雅侧身捡了起来。

As she looked at the carving of Sisu, she had a flash of memory: she and Sisu standing together in the Chamber of the Dragon Gem. Sisu’s words suddenly came back to her.

她看着上面雕刻的希苏，突然想起了:她和希苏一起站在神龙宝石之殿时的那一幕。她突然想起了希苏的话。

“I don’t know why they chose me. It could have been any of us. All I know is I trusted them and they trusted me. And so. . .”

“我不知道他们为什么选择我。本可能是我们中任何一条龙，”希苏解释，“我只知道我信任他们，他们信任我。因此......”

Raya’s eyes opened wide. The answer had been there all along. Why had it taken her so long to see it? “Everyone! Give me your gems!” she yelled over the roar of the Druun.

拉雅睁大了双眼。答案一直都在那里。她为什么花了那么久才找到呢? “所有人!把你们的宝石给我!”她在黑魔的吼叫声中喊道。

“We can still put it together. It can still work!”
The others gaped at her as if she’d lost her mind. “Sisu’s gone, Raya. We don’t have her magic,” Boun said.

“我们能把它们合起来。它还能用!”

其他人目瞪口呆地看着她，就好像她疯了。“希苏死了，拉雅。我们没有她的魔法。”阿波说。

“It’s not about magic,” Raya told him. “It’s about trust.”

“重点不在于魔法，”拉雅告诉他，“而在于信任。”

“What?” Namaari asked.

“什么?”纳马丽问。

“That’s why it worked. That’s why we can do it, too. By doing the one thing Sisu wanted us to do — what my ba wanted us to do — to finally trust each other and fix this. But we have to come together. Please.”

“那就是它为什么奏效了，也是为什么我们也能做到的原因。我们要做希苏希望我们做的事— 我父亲希望我们做的事— 开始彼此信任，修复这一切。但我们必须团结起来。拜托了。”

“After what she’s done?” Tong looked at Namaari in disgust.

“在她干了那些事之后?”老藤厌恶地看着纳马丽。

“We’ll never trust her!” Boun exclaimed.

“我们永远都不会相信她!”阿波喊道。

Raya looked at her friends. She couldn’t blame them. Only moments before, she had felt the same way.

拉雅看着她的朋友们。她知道自己不能责备他们。就在不久之前，她的感受和他们一样。

“Then let me take the first step,” she said. She went to Namaari and placed her Gem piece in Namaari’s hand.

“Raya, no!” Boun cried. But it was too late.

“那就让我迈出这第一步。”她说。她走向纳马丽，把自己的宝石碎片放在了纳马丽手中。 “拉雅，不!”阿波喊道，但太迟了。

The last thing Raya saw as the Druun swept over her was Namaari’s pale face staring back at her in shock.

在黑魔席卷她之前，拉雅最后看到的就是纳马丽正脸色惨白惊愕地盯着她。
