我是凡妮莎·科比。我在Net-A-Poter杂志聊聊我的第一次经历。

The first time I felt like I made it and that's such a weird expression. Anyway, but I never forget I have my first ever job was a set of three plays. 

第一次我觉得自己成功了，这样说有点奇怪。不过，我永远忘不了我的第一份工作，是演了一个三幕剧中的一幕。

But I remember walking from the theater to my little flat I was living in for six months. I got an envelope. It was my first paycheck. It was like 130 quidor something per week.

我记得我从剧场回到我住了六个月的小公寓，手里拿着个信封，里面是我第一笔工资薪水，大概130英镑还是多少，一周的薪水。

And I remembered to open it up, I remembered my hands shake, I just looked at it all the way home as I was walking. Coz I honestly thought, are you actually paying me for this?

我记得我打开信封的时候，手一直在颤抖，回家路上一直盯着那张支票。然后我心里想，真的就给我钱了啊。

My brain doesn't want to take me there, coz l can’t think I’m wearing like a granny curtain dress...oh... I remember like the first two ones, they had no idea who I was. They're just like” Lady, move on.”

那可真是往事不要再提了，因为我感觉我穿了个奶奶的窗帘就去了。我记得那次红毯没有什么人认识我，周围一直冲我喊“女士，走快点”。

The first time I set foot on the Mission Impossible set was... I'll never forget it so I was filming the second season of the Crown, and had to get the Euro-star overnight to film like the next morning in Paris. And we were filming in... oh my god, I can't remember the building... in The Grand Palace, of course.

第一次踏上《碟中谍》剧组真的是令人难忘，我当时正在拍《王冠》的第二季，拍完后连夜坐高铁去巴黎拍早上的戏。然后我们在......天呐，我好像忘记在哪拍的了......在巴黎大皇宫，对，就是在那。

Oh god, there was so many extras and there's... this huge light show, because we meant to be in this big party that my characters were sort of organizing. I mean I'd never been on such a big set in my whole life at all, not with that many crew that many extras were filming in in the palace at night time. It was really surreal.

现场好多演员和群演，还有那种灯光秀，因为我当时是在拍一个我演的角色组织的大派对场景。我想说的是，我从来没拍过这么大场景的电影，从未和这么多工作人员，这么多演员，在大皇宫一直拍到晚上。现在想起来还挺梦幻的。

Not that one, no, that's gone.

I met Vanessa Redgrave at the national theatre, someone invited us back to thegreen room. And I was like 11 or something and I just see The Cherry Orchard and I just... that play was actually the thing that really made me want to act.

我在国家大剧院遇到过瓦妮莎·雷德格雷夫，有人要请我们去演员休息室。我当时也就11岁，刚看完《樱桃园》，就是这个话剧让我产生了做演员的念头。

And everyone at school had like a name card, and everyone had loads and I had just one, and it was Vanessa Redgrave. Quite surreal, she plays my mom in Mission Possible. It's just... this strange thing that happens isn't it?

在学校我们每个人都有一个名片，大家都有好多张，我就只有一张，那上面的名字就是瓦妮莎·雷德格雷夫。更梦幻的是，她在《碟中谍》里演了我妈妈，是不是很神奇？

The first time I was nominated for an award was at the Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards. I was nominated for best newcomer. Yeah, I was just like I couldn't believe it.

我第一次获奖是曼彻斯特晚报评选的戏剧奖，我的了新人奖。对，我有点不太相信。

The plays that I'd done was in this small theater it's like 300 seats in Bolton and Tom Sturridge was nominated, and I'm such a big fan of him. And then I was nominated alongside him. And it was a really... it's a really cool night.

让我得奖的作品是个小剧场话剧，就300个座位的博尔顿小剧场，汤姆·斯图里奇也得了奖，我还是他的粉丝。我和他一起获奖，真是个让人激动的夜晚。

Okay, the first time I read the script for pieces of a woman was... I just met Ashley and Sam  Levinson, most brilliant couple ever. I met them on the same day and I said, Oh, I'm really looking to do something like... Jenna Rollins is my hero. And I've been really wanting to do something like Women Under The Influence.

第一次读《女人的碎片》的剧本，那时候刚见完阿什莉和萨姆·莱文森，一对非常棒的情侣。我是同一天见了这两人，然后我和他们俩说，我想拍点像吉娜·罗琳斯拍的那种作品，她是我的偶像。我一直想演一部像《权势下的女人》这样的作品。

And I'd met them both separately, and they sent each other a message as I was with them saying, what about Pieces of A Woman about Martha? And then they sent the script to me. That evening and I was in my hotel room and I read it in an hour I just so wanted to be a part of the film.

我是分别和他们见面，他们在听我说完我对《女人的碎片》的理解，对角色玛莎的理解后，彼此发了信息，当天晚上他们就给我发了剧本。当时我正在酒店的房间里，然后我一个小时就把剧本读完，非常想参演这部电影。
