If you have read the story of The Three Little Pigs, you must know that building a house out of straw or sticks isn’t the smart thing to do when you can use bricks.
Brick is a great building material(材料). It protects the little pigs from the Big Bad Wolf. It is also a material that needs a little maintenance(维护). Over long periods of time, it doesn’t break, rot or need to be painted. Bricks will not be eaten by termites(白蚁) or other insects as well.
