1 go up to sb (S3E05)

go up to sb 与某人搭讪。

小时候爸爸妈妈常对我们说不要和陌生人说话吗？You can't go up to a guy you kind of don't know. 

我被一帮熊孩子给搭讪了，问我去往五道口的方向。A party of ten kids went up to me and asked for the direction to go to Wudaokou. 

除了用go up to sb表示搭讪外，还可以用到chat sb up.

2 give sb the the third degree （S3E06）

 give sb the third degree 拷问某人，盘问某人。

上课迟到了半小时，结果老师不停地盘问你迟到的原因。Your teacher gave you the third degree because you ran behind. 

如果回家晚了，你的父母会不会不停地拷问你呢？Do your parents give you the third degree when you go home after midnight? 

3 on the house (S3E05)

 on the hosue 把帐算在店家的身上，即免费，店家出钱，赠送。

当我们定酒店时，我们会考虑是否包含早餐。We tend to consider whether the breakfast is on the house before we stay in a hotel. 

朋友饿得有点慌，尴尬的是，来到了一家酒水免费，却没有主食的店。The restaurant is out of food, but drinks are on the house. 

4 screw up (S3E05)

screw up 搞砸。

朋友遇到一个大客户，自言自语地说，这是一个千载难逢的机会，希望别搞砸了。This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Don't screw it up.

我不想再把工作弄得一团糟了。I don't want to screw up my work again. 

5 trip sb out （S3E04）

trip sb out 把某人搞糊涂。

当朋友问到一些奇葩问题，总是让我们不知所措。You're tripping me out when asking me some tricky questions.
