1. strike a chord (S01E01)

引起共鸣，在英语里，有对应的单词: resonate, relate. 学个更形象的表达：strike a chord.

男主 Bojack 波杰克，是一匹过气的明星马，他曾演的家庭喜剧 "horsin' around"，引起了美国人民的共鸣：the family comedy struck a chord with America. 

chord: 和弦；struck: strike 的过去式，打；击。

3. has-been (S01E01)

speak volumes: 不言而喻；传递很多信息；足以说明

他尽力想挽回这段感情，但对方的沉默说明了一切。
