When our mind is disturbed by strong emotions, we’re no longer lucid and peaceful, and our perceptions are distorted. When our mind is calm like a peaceful lake, we reflect things as they are.
Breathing in, I know I am breathing in. Breathing out, I know I am breathing out.
Breathing in, I calm my body. Breathing out, I calm my mind.
Breathing in, I see myself as still water. Breathing out, I reflect things as they are.
