为学5-26：物资、心态、理想-各言其志

【原文】

颜渊季路侍。子曰：「盍各言尔志？」子路曰：「愿车马、衣、轻裘，与朋友共，敝之而无憾。」颜渊曰：「愿无伐善，无施劳。」子路曰：「愿闻子之志！子曰：「老者安之，朋友信之，少者怀之。」

【注释】

1)    侍：立侍，站在老师旁边。

2)    盍：何不。

3)    裘：皮衣。

4)    敝：使…破旧。

5)    伐善：夸耀 能力。

6)    施劳：夸耀有功。

7)    安之：得到奉养而安乐（至善的结果）。

8)    信之：以信用相交（至善的过程）。

9)    怀之：得到关怀和培养（至善的开端）。

【语译】

颜渊，子路站在孔子身旁，孔子说：“我们来说说自己的志向如何？”子路说：“我愿意把自己的车马，衣物和朋友共享，就是用破旧了，也不觉得遗憾。”颜渊说：“我愿不夸耀自己的才能，不表扬自己的功劳。”子路说：“我们也想听听老师的志愿。”孔子说：“我希望老人家能够得到奉养而安乐，朋友们以信实相交，年少的能得到爱护。”

Yán Huí and Zǐlù were in attendance onConfucius when the Master said to them, “Why don’t each of you tell me what itis you would most like to do.”
Zǐlù said, “I would like to share my horses and carriages, my clothing andfurs, with my friends, and if they damage them, to bear them no ill will.”
Yán Huí said, “I would like to refrain from bragging about my own abilities,and to not exaggerate my own accomplishments.” Zǐlù said, “We would like tohear what it is that you, Master, would most like to do.”
The Master said, “I would like to bring peace and contentment to the aged, toshare relationships of trust and confidence with my friends, and to love andprotect the young.”
