2008 Consignment Agreement

The Artist and Gallery agree to the following conditions of this consignment:
1. If a work of art is sold, the Artist will receive
50% of the agreed upon price as specified above, plus full cost of frame and mounting.
2. The Gallery is understood to be able to lower the agreed price by 10% if necessary to make a sale, unless otherwise noted above. Any additional discounts need to be agreed to by the Artist prior to a sale.
3. If a work of art is sold, the Gallery will notis, the Artist within 7 days by telephone or mail.
4. If a work of art is sold, the Gallery will pay the Artist his or her portion of the sales price lor agreed-to discount price) within sixty (60) days after full payment is received by the Gallery. Until the Gallery has received full payment for the work sold, it will remain in the custody of the Gallery.
5. The Artist understands that the Gallery has insurance coverage to protect the art against damage, loss, or theft.
