“倒数第一”我们都知道英文叫the last one，那倒数第二、第三、第四…呢？用英语怎么说？

倒数第二

字面意思：相比最后一个，我是它的第二个

注意：如果是做表语，也就是说“某人是倒数第二”，一般在前面加the: He is the second to last.

如果做状语，也就是修饰动词，the则可省略：He came second to last.（他倒数第二个来）

也可以在这些词之间加上连字符，放在名词前修饰名词：

He is the-second-to-last person to finish the task.

他是倒数第二个完成任务的。
