春节后上海核酸检测需求激增

The Chinese mainland reported 12 domestic COVID-19 infections yesterday(February 3rd). Five were reported in Guangdong, 4 in Tianjin, 2 in Zhejiang, and 1 in Beijing. As the holiday draws to a close, a surge in demand for people needing a nucleic acid test has led hospitals to extend hours.
中国大陆昨天（2月3日）报告了12例国内感染新冠肺炎疫情确诊病例。广东5例，天津4例，浙江2例，北京1例。随着假期接近尾声，人们对于核酸检测的需求激增，医院因此也延长了工作时间。

Many hospital officials said many getting tested are students who have returned to Shanghai after spending the Spring Festival holiday in other provinces. Some schools require students a negative nucleic acid test within 24 hours of returning to Shanghai. Shanghai Pudong People's Hospital is open 24 hours a day, and increased its coronavirus testing capacity from 6,000 to 18,000 per day. 

许多医护工作人员表示，许多接受检测的都是在其他省份过年后返沪的学生。一些学校要求学生在返回上海后24小时内进行核酸检测阴性。上海浦东人民医院全天24小时开放，并将冠状病毒检测能力从6000份/每天提高到18000份/每天。

People around the world have shared videos and pictures of fun moments with Bing Dwen Dwen, including images of the inflated Beijing Games mascot trying to squeeze through the door to enter the main media center, how a Japanese reporter bought many Bing Dwen Dwen badges and how many athletes enjoy sleeping on Bing Dwen Dwen pillows. A Czech ice dancer said she wants to buy Bing Dwen Dwen keychains and pillows. American luger【雪橇运动员】 Summer Britcher offered anyone interested a look at the beds in the Olympic Village in Beijing.

She demonstrated that the beds can be adjusted by remote control and include zero gravity mode, which is a setting on adjustable beds that reduces pressure on muscles and joints and helps the body fully relax.

Aegean Place in Minhang District has become a winter wonderland for families during the Spring Festival holiday as this indoor theme park features ski tracks, 50-meter ice slides, a maze【迷宫】 and an obstacle course.

闵行区的爱琴海广场已成为春节期间家庭的冬季仙境。这个室内主题公园设有滑雪道，50米冰滑梯，迷宫和障碍赛道等设施。

Maybe it won't be as perfect as Chongli Resort in Zhangjiakou City, or Changbai Mountain in Jilin province, but for a city where snow is rare and heavy snow is non-existent, coming here is probably the best way to have fun in the snow without leaving the city. Henrik Stefes, co-founder of the center has been to most ski resorts in China, including Beidahu【北大湖】, Songhua Lake【松花湖】 and Changbai Mountain【长白山】 in Jilin Province. The German said resorts in China are impressive in terms of village layout, track designs and facilities.

If you go through your Wechat moments, you can see there are so many people who are interested in playing snow sports at the moment.

Henrik told me that they get people ranging from 2.5 to 72 years of age. As the entry barrier for skiing is lower than other winter sports, around 80 percent of customers here are trying skiing for the first time, just like me.

The Shanghai Ice and Snow Sports Association said the number of participants engaged in winter sports was more than 600,000 in Shanghai in 2017, and that it increased to 2.8 million in 2021. The Shanghai Sports Bureau believes the city will have 30 winter sports clubs by 2025. 

上海市冰雪运动协会表示，2017年上海参加冬季运动的人数超过60万人，到2021年增加到280万人。上海市体育局表示，到2025年，上海市将拥有30个冬季运动俱乐部。
