Prada launches design campaign for Year of the Tiger
00:08①Italian luxury brand Prada launched acampaign "Action in the Year of the Tiger" to celebrate the Chinese New Year ofthe Tiger and toraise awareness on safeguardingtigers, the largest animal in the feline family and a species at the risk ofextinction.
00:25②As part of the campaign, Prada's logo was transformed intoa powerful tiger face.
00:32③The campaign invited art talents under30 to create their own interpretationsof the tiger through paintings, designs and sculptures. The applicants'works will be judged by a jury comprising of artists Liu Ye, Lu Yang and Goshka Macuga. Worksby the finalists willbe used during the campaign throughout 2022.
00:54④Chinese actor Li Yifeng and actress ChunXia participated in the campaign.
01:01⑤Prada will also contribute to theconservation of endangeredAmur tiger bymaking a donation to "Walking with Tiger and Leopard" program ofChina Green Foundation. The program shares information of wildlife and biodiversitywith thepublic by high-tech monitoring methods to improve the awareness of tiger andleopard conservation by environment education in order to create an "Eden of BigCats" which will allow tigers to live in harmony with humans.
