孤单的萤火虫（中英文）

孤单的萤火虫

As the sun set a little firefly was born. It stretched itswings and flew off into the darkening sky

太阳落山的时候一只萤火虫出生了，它伸展开翅膀飞向夜空。

It was a lonely firefly and it flashed its light searchingfor other fireflies

它是只孤单地萤火虫，闪着亮光去寻找它的伙伴们。

The firefly saw a light and flew toward it. But it was notanother firefly . It was a light bulb lightning up the night

萤火虫看见了亮光并朝它飞去，但那却不是萤火虫的小伙伴儿，而是一只晚上照明用的灯泡

The firefly saw a light and flew toward it.

萤火虫又看见了亮光并朝它飞去，

But it was not another firefly. It was a candle flickeringin the night.

但那也不是萤火虫的小伙伴儿，而是一只闪烁的蜡烛

The firefly saw a light and flew toward it.

萤火虫又看见了亮光并朝它飞去

But it was not another firefly. It was a flashlight shiningin the night.

但那也不是萤火虫的小伙伴儿, 而是一只手电筒发出的亮光。

The firefly saw a light and flew toward it.

萤火虫又看见了一束亮光并朝它飞去

But it was not another firefly. It was a lantern glowing inthe night.

但那还不是萤火虫的小伙伴儿, 而是一只被点亮的灯笼，

The firefly saw several lights and flew toward them. Butthey were not other fireflies. There was a dog and a cat and…an owl, their eyesreflecting the lights.

萤火虫又看见了几处亮光并朝它飞去, 可那也不是萤火虫的小伙伴儿, 而是一只狗，和一只猫，还有一只猫头鹰的眼睛反射出的光

The firefly saw a light and flew toward it.

萤火虫又看见了亮光并朝它飞去

But it was not another firefly. It was a car’s headlightsflooding the night.

可那也不是萤火虫的小伙伴，是一辆汽车的车前灯倾泻出的如洪水般的光亮。

The firefly saw many lights and flew toward them.

萤火虫又看见了许多亮光并朝它飞去

But  they were notother fireflies.

那还不是萤火虫的小伙伴

They were fireworks sparkling and glittering and shimmeringin the night.

而是烟火发出的闪亮，璀璨，绚丽的光芒。

When all was quiet, the firefly flew through the nightflashing its light, looking and searching again.

当四周都安静下来，萤火虫穿过夜空闪着自己的小灯继续寻找

Then the very lonely firefly saw what it has been lookingfor…A group of fireflies flashing their lights. Now the firefly wasn’t lonelyanymore

然后，这只孤独地小萤火终于找到它一直要找的东西了…一群闪着亮光的萤火虫们。现在萤火虫再也不觉得的孤单了。
