I had to go to the hospital yesterday. It was great they had English speaking staff. There really wasn’t anything wrong with me. I just wanted to go and make sure everything was okay. What should you say at the hospital if you don’t really have any serious problems, but you would just like the doctor to have a look. We can use: “I’d like to have a check up”. In western countries we usually see doctors who look at all types of problems, going to a specialist only if there is something very serious. 

昨天我去到医院了。他们有说英语的员工真好。我身体没什么问题，只是想做个定时的全面体检。如果你想挂个号但是没有什么严重问题，只是想医生瞧瞧，做个体检之类的，该怎么说？我们可以用“I’d like to have a check up”。 在西方国家我们一般都是看全科医生，只是有严重问题才会去专科。
