Nanshan Ski Resort (南山滑雪场)
Location: Miyun county(密云县), a one-and-a-half-hour drive from Tian'anmen Square
Nanshan Ski Resort is the largest ski resort in northern China. The resort is equipped with many ski facilities(设施) and slopes(斜坡). It offers over 5, 000 sets of ski equipment for renting. Nanshan has two cable car(缆车) lines. Each cable car can hold two to four people at a time. There are also special snowmobile tracks(摩托雪橇轨道) for children.

Badaling Ski Resort (八达岭滑雪场)
Location: About five kilometers away from the Badaling Great Wall
Badaling Ski Resort offers tourists a lot of fun winter activities, such as sking, ice sculpture(冰雕) and snow sauna(桑拿浴). The resort has ski slopes of different difficulty levels. They can meet the needs of different skiers. Badaling also has a 2, 300-meter-long snowmobile track. It is the longest snowmobile track in Beijing.

Location: Pinggu district(平谷区), a 90-minute drive from the city center
Beijing Yuyang Ski Resort is one of the largest ski resorts around Beijing. It has eleven different ski slopes. The resort combines hiking, winter activities, dining and other forms of entertainment(娱乐活动). It is open into the evening. Skiers can enjoy the night scenery of Beijing there.
