I am the youngest one in my family. In terms of muscular strength, my dad is the strongest. Who plays musical instruments the best?Oh, it’s my sister. And when it comes to communication skills, it seems I can never do better than my mom.
But recently, I have discovered one “strength” of mine — baking cakes.
Perhaps you think baking cakes is not something special. Many people know how to bake a cake. However, my cooking method is quite different from others’. Since I don’t have an oven at home, I use the rice cooker to bake cakes.
The first time I used the rice cooker to bake cakes, I put in too much flour. As a result,the cake was too sticky(黏黏糊糊的). But my mom and dad thought it was very special. They said I did a good job. To encourage me, they ate up the whole cake.
After that, I tried again, and again. Finally, I made a wonderful cake using the rice cooker. It smelt as good as it looked, and it turned out to taste good, too. You may have eaten a lot of cakes, but have you ever tried a cake baked using a rice cooker?
I don’t have powerful muscles and I can’t play musical instruments very well, but I am now proud of the fact that I know how to bake cakes with a rice cooker — something that few people can do. So everyone can be special and have special experience. Every single day can be special!
