[China's Sichuan Lifts Counties out of Poverty]
China's Sichuan Province declared today it has removed the poverty label from all of its counties amid the country's efforts to eradicate absolute poverty by the end of 2020.

The provincial government of Sichuan said seven counties in the Liangshan Yi 凉山彝 Autonomous Prefecture were the last group in the province to be removed from the national poverty list. Xihaigu 西海固, one of China's poorest areas located in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, saw its last impoverished county shake off poverty yesterday. Yunnan province and the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region announced last Saturday that they no longer have any "impoverished counties". China has set a goal of eradicating absolute poverty by the end of 2020, which was part of building a moderately and comprehensively prosperous society. Counties yet to be removed from the "impoverished counties" list are in the provinces of Guizhou, Gansu, and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

我国脱贫攻坚工作不断取得重大进展。继本月14日，云南省和新疆维吾尔自治区宣布，省内和区内所有贫困县实现脱贫摘帽后，今天上午，四川省人民政府官网也发布公告，宣布凉山彝族自治州普格县、布拖县、金阳县、昭觉县等7个贫困县脱贫摘帽。至此，四川省88个贫困县全部清零。

而在昨天下午，宁夏回族自治区人民政府也正式批复同意西吉县退出贫困县序列。至此，宁夏全区9个贫困县全部脱贫。目前，全国832个贫困县所在的22个省区市中，已经有19个省区市的贫困县实现了全部脱贫摘帽。
