维珍超级高铁"超级环"(Hyperloop)完成首次载人测试

Virgin Hyperloop completed the world's first passenger ride on a super high-speed levitating pod system traveling through a low pressure tube on Sunday. The company hopes the technology will transform transportation. 

Two Virgin Hyperloop executives took part in the safety test in the desert around Las Vegas, where they traveled 500 meters in 15 seconds. They were seen seated in the pod as it quietly hurtled through the low-pressure tube at speeds of up to 172 kilometers per hour, just a fraction of the speed that Hyperloop hopes to achieve. Hyperloop says its trains will eventually be able to travel nearly four times faster than a high speed train. The pod used in the test will be expanded to accommodate 28 passengers. The company is working to achieve safety certification by 2025 and commercial operations by 2030.

在科幻电影中经常可以看到，在未来世界人们乘坐胶囊列车，在城市高空快速穿行，这样的设想有望成为现实。近日，英国维珍集团的超级高铁项目"超级环"，成功完成了首次载人测试。

在美国拉斯维加斯的沙漠中，白色的"超级环"测试管道异常醒目。此前，"超级环"已完成了超过400次的无乘客测试。这一次，胶囊舱将首次载着两名乘客，在真空管道中通行。理论上，胶囊舱的最高时速可达近1000公里，不过当天，因测试轨道长度仅为500米，胶囊舱的最高时速只有172公里，15秒之后到达终点。

真空管道内的通行，给乘客带来的是"几乎没有噪音的体验"。这一超级高铁的速度 是普通高铁的四倍，半小时就能行进300多公里。

维珍公司表示，计划在5年内实现"超级环"的安全认证，并在2030年实现商业运营，未来他们还将改造胶囊舱，令其可以容纳更多乘客。
