When he heard about Elizabeth,Victor's father collapsed.

Elizabeth too! What is happening tous?

Two days later he died.

The monster has destroyed myfamily.

Victor became mad with despair. Formonths he spoke to nobody.

Finally he told his story to amagistrate in Geneva.

You must catch this monster. He isa danger to the world.

You created a monster? This isincredible. I have never heard such a story.

He ran towards the voice but thecreature was gone.

He is as fast as lightning. But Iwill catch him, even if it takes my whole life.

Victor spent his life hunting thecreature. He followed him into the mountains.

The creature led him across burningdeserts.

My water is nearly finished. Icannot stop.

The creature was always there, infront. But it was impossible to reach him.

Sometimes Victor thought he hadlost him. But the creature always left a sign to show the way.

He wants me to follow him. He wantsme to suffer like him.

His life was a torture. He was onlyhappy when he slept.

Let me sleep. In my dreams I amwith you, Elizabeth. And father and William.

维克托投入他的余生去抓捕这个怪物。他跟踪他来到山里。

怪物领着他穿过炎热似火的沙漠。

我的水快喝完了，我不可以停下来。

怪物总是在他前面一点点的地方，却不让他追上。

One night he heard the creature'slaughter.

Come with me, Frankenstein. I willtake you to the frozen north, where the ice and the cold will cut you like aknife.

In the Arctic snow he couldsometimes clearly see the creature.

Using dogs and a sledge, he thoughtthat he was getting nearer to him.

Wait for me, you monster. I amgoing to kill you. Nothing can stop me now.

But one night there was a storm andthe ice broke up.

Victor was cut off at sea on apiece of ice.

一天晚上，他听到怪物的笑声。

跟我来啊，弗兰肯斯坦。我要带你去冰封的北极，那里的冰雪和严寒会像刀子一样刺痛你。

有时候，在北极雪地里他可以很清楚地看到那个怪物。
