ZAO is an application that mainly focus on video face changing. Users can upload their own photos, use the AI face swap function, change the actors’ face in short videos into their own faces, and then share it, claiming to be able to frame with their idols.
During the use of this software, users have the ability to use other people's photos to make face changing videos, potentially infringement of other people's rights of portrait. Using ZAO appication for face swap requires various verifications such as winking and raising the hand and stuff like that, which is similar to the face information collected when using face identify to pay. If people having a hidden agenda steal the information of users face by this technology, it will leads to precision fraud ,or it may be the lost of users account password. In this way, users not only lose the information of their own face, but also their own money.
