The biggest animal in the world is the blue whale. It lives in the ocean. They like cold water, so you can find them near the North and South Pole. An adult blue whale can be up to 30 meters long and weigh more than 150 tons. They eat a very small sea creature called krill. One krill is only one to two centimeters long. A blue whale can eat up to 40 million krill in one day.

Blue whales like to sing to each other. They can hear other blue whales singing up to 1,500 kilometers away. The male blue whale will sing to attract a female for mating.
