The giraffe is the tallest animal in the world. It can grow up to six meters tall and weigh up to 800kg. Giraffes live in Africa in the grasslands and woodlands. Giraffes can run very fast, up to 60 kilometers per hour. That’s faster than a horse.

Giraffes usually eat leaves from trees. They eat a lot of leaves, up to 45kg of leaves every day. They get a lot of water from the leaves, so giraffes don’t drink much water. They only need to drink water once every few days. They are friendly animals, and live in big groups of about 15 giraffes.

Russia is the biggest country in the world. About ten percent of all land mass in the world in is Russia. The capital city is Moscow. Russia is a very cold country. In most of Russia it is too cold for people to live. Only about 145 million people live in Russia.

The most famous animal in Russia is the beautiful Siberian tiger. It’s the biggest cat in the world. It can grow up to 3 meters long and weigh as much as 300kg. The Siberian tiger is endangered. There are only about 500 living in the wild in Russia today. They are very shy and it’s very hard to find one.
