搞懂电脑里的“曲奇”“现金”和“云朵”- 技术美语

如果您不是做IT的，会不会被一些常见的IT术语困扰呢？碰上些英文IT术语，那就更会让人蒙圈了！这里我就介绍几个常见的，但常搞不清的IT英文术语：

1. CACHE  (not "cash")

  - Browser cache: is your computer's temporary storage of files downloaded when you browsewebsites. This  storage is meant to speedup the process of future website visits.

    - ”Clean your cache when you browse websites“

2. COOKIE (not that cookie in the jar)

    - A small text file, sent from the websiteto your computer. It is more like apersonal log of what you did on a website during your last visit: yourpreferences, input, password, etc.

    - “Enable the cookie if you want the website to remember what you did on the site”

3. CLOUD (not the cloud in the sky)

- Cloud storage: Data storage services provided by external hosting companies such as One Drive, Dropbox, Tecent Yun, etc.,

-  “Remember to upload your files to the cloud"
