The Tortoise and the Hare

Once upon a time, there was a hare who was very proud of his speed. （从前，有一只对自己速度非常自豪的兔子。）
He often boasted about how fast he could run. （他经常吹嘘自己能跑得有多快。）

One day, he saw a tortoise slowly crawling along. （有一天，他看到一只乌龟在慢慢地爬行。）
