The Ugly Duckling

In the countryside, a mother duck was sitting on her eggs. After some time, the eggs began to hatch. One by one, the little ducklings popped out.

"Peep, peep!" they said. But one of the eggs was much bigger than the others, and it took longer to hatch.

As he grew older, the ugly duckling became even more different. His neck was longer, and his body was bigger.

The ugly duckling looked at the swans and felt a strange feeling. He wished he could be like them.
