【全球伦理】

我们所生活的世界是全球化的。远在地球另一端的经济体会影响我们的经济。我们的政治、教育、文化和消费超越了国家边界。我们的伦理观念和人类价值观也需要全球化。一个新的全球秩序需要一个新的全球伦理，每个人都可以接受的全球伦理准则是应对我们时代真正挑战的关键。在世界各地，我们面临着气候变化、暴力和战争。狂热主义、歧视、分裂、不公正、经济危机和环境破坏影响着我们所有人。我们可以作为来自许多国家和传统的人们，坐在一起，找出全球痛苦的原因并寻找解决方案。如果我们以清晰、冷静和和平的态度深入观察，我们可以看到痛苦的原因并找到出路。我们是许多不同的文化和国家，每一个都有自己的价值观、行为方式和伦理标准。每个国家、每种文化和传统都能提供一些美好的东西。需要我们所有人的集体智慧来制定一个全球伦理准则。通过世界各国人民和传统的智慧，我们可以创建一个基于相互尊重的全球伦理。

[A GLOBAL ETHIC]

The world in which we live is globalized. Economies halfway around the world affect our own. Our politics, education, culture, and consumption extend beyond national boundaries. Our ethics, our human values, also need to be globalized. A new global order calls for a new global ethic that everyone can embrace. A shared code of ethics is the key to addressing the true challenges of our time. Around the world, we are facing climate change, violence, and wars. Fanaticism, discrimination, division, injustice, economic crises, and the destruction of the environment affect us all. We can sit down together, as people of many nations and traditions, to identify the causes of global suffering and to find solutions. If we look deeply with clarity, calm, and peace, we can see the causes of our suffering and find a way out. We are many different cultures and nations, each with its own values, ways of behaving, and criteria for ethical conduct. Every country, every culture and tradition can offer something beautiful. It will take all our collective wisdom to make a global code of ethics. With insight from all the world’s people and traditions, we can create a global ethic that is based on mutual respect.
