1. Dress appropriately. Opt for formal or semi-formal outfits, avoiding flashy colors and excessive accessories. Check if the university has dress recommendations.

2. Keep your hair tidy and your shoes polished.

◆ Interview tips

1. Greet interviewers politely and smile genuinely. Both create a positive impression.

2. Maintain steady eye contact with the interviewers to convey confidence. A steady gaze at the bridge of the interviewer’s nose can convey engagement without making them uncomfortable.

3. Sit up straight to show focus and respect. Lean slightly forward to show genuine interest.

4. Use hand gestures to emphasize points but avoid exaggerating them. Avoid fidgeting, shaking your leg, or other distracting movements.

5. Speak clearly at an appropriate volume and avoid slang or abbreviations.
