How do you get around most often: walking, biking, bus, or car?

Cars,buses, bicycles, and pedestrians all share the road. Here are some important road safety tips.

In the car, always wear your seat belt. Those who don’t might need to pay a fine for breaking the law!

On a bicycle, wear a helmet. Use your bike’s lights and wear bright clothes at night. Always ride in the bike lanes or the streets, not the sidewalks.

As a pedestrian, always cross the street at crosswalks. Look both ways before you cross. Be careful around buses and trucks, not just cars. They can lead to very serious accidents. Avoid using your phone on the street. It’s a dangerous distraction!

汽车、公交车、脚踏车和行人共同使用道路。以下是几个重要的交通安全守则。

乘坐汽车时，都要系好安全带。未系安全带的人可能会因违规而面临罚款！

骑脚踏车时，戴上安全帽。晚上骑车时，开启脚踏车灯并穿着亮色的衣服。务必骑在自行车道或街道上，而非人行道上。

身为行人，务必在过马路时走斑马线。过马路前要查看左右两侧是否安全。不仅在汽车周围要小心自身安全，在公交车和卡车附近也是，这些车辆可能会引起严重的交通事故。请避免在路上使用手机，它是会让你分心的危险物品！

2.law (n.)法律

    break the law (phr.)违法  (break-broke-broken)

You must wear your seat belt in the car because it’s the law.

你在车上必须系上安全带，因为那是法律规范。

3.lane (n.)车道

Always check your car’s mirrors before you change lanes.

在变换车道前，务必确认车子的后照镜。

4.avoid (v.)避免

You should avoid petting the strange dog. It might bite you!

你应该避免碰触那只陌生的狗，牠可能会咬你！
