1.SHENZHOU-15 CREW ENTERS CHINA’S SPACE STATION

神十五航天员顺利进驻中国空间站

The Shenzhou-15 mannedspaceship blasted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China last night. The three astronauts aboard have joined three other colleagues in orbit after Shenzhou-15 docked with the country’s space station. Song Wenjing has more.

神舟十五号载人飞船11月29日晚从中国西北部的酒泉卫星发射中心发射升空。在神舟十五号与中国空间站对接后，神州十五号的3名航天员与神舟十四号的三名航天员乘组在太空“会师”。记者宋文婧带来更多详细报道。

About 10 minutes after the launch, Shenzhou-15 separated from the rocket and entered its designated orbit. It was the 27th flight mission since the country’s manned space program began and the fourth crewed mission for China’s space station project. The success of the launch marked the completion of all 12 missions planned in thekey technology verification and construction phases of the space station.At 5:42 am today, the Shenzhou-15 completed an automatedrendezvous【交会】 and docked with the front port of the space station’s Tianhe module. The process took approximately 6.5 hours.

发射后约10分钟，神州十五号与火箭分离并进入指定轨道。这是我国载人航天工程立项实施以来的第27次飞行任务，也是进入空间站阶段后的第4次载人任务。这次发射成功标志着空间站关键技术验证和建造阶段规划的12次发射任务全部圆满完成。11月30日凌晨5点42分，神舟十五号飞船完成了自主交会，并与空间站天和核心舱的前向端口对接。整个对接过程耗时约6.5小时。

At 7:33 am, Chen Dong, commander of the Shenzhou-14 crew, opened the hatch. He and his team greeted the new arrivals—Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu with warm hugs. Then, they took a group picture, shouting in unison: "China’s space station is always worth looking forward to."The get together marked the first in-orbit crewrotation【换班】. The China Manned Space Agency said the six astronauts are expected to live and work together for about five days to complete handover work. The Shenzhou-15 crew will then return to Earth after a six-month stay on the space station.

11月30日早上7点33分，神舟十四号乘组的指令长陈冬打开舱门，热情拥抱迎远道而来的亲人——费俊龙、邓清明和张陆。随后，“胜利会师”的两个航天员乘组一齐拍了一张太空合影，齐声喊道：“中国空间站永远值得期待”，标志着空间站首次在轨轮换。中国载人航天工程办公室表示，这6名航天员将共同在空间站生活和工作约5天时间，完成各项既定任务和交接工作。然后，神舟十五号乘组将在空间站停留6个月后返回地球。

The overnight low dropped to 4 degrees in Shanghai early this morning. Weather forecasters say temperatures will be at their lowest during this cold snap tomorrow. Song Wenjing brings us more.

Temperatures dropped just below three degrees in suburban areas including Songjiang, Jinshan, Qingpu and Fengxian. Weather forecasters say tomorrow will be even colder, with lows close to zero degrees in the suburbs. Rain and sleet are also expected in the downtown area.

Solid precipitation includes many different types, but it’s all considered to be snowy weather. So this was the city’s first snow of the year. Judging from the temperature, it’s very possible that Shanghai entered winter today.

3.NATO, U.S. PLEDGE TO PROVIDE MORE SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE

The Kremlinreaffirmed【重申】Tuesday that negotiations with Ukraine could only be possible if the country meets Moscow’s demands. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said it was "impossible to hold any talks now because the Ukrainian side strongly rejects them."

俄罗斯方面周二（11/29）重申，只有当乌克兰满足俄方要求时，俄乌合谈才有可能。俄罗斯总统新闻秘书德米特里·佩斯科夫称，“俄乌现在不可能进行谈判，因为乌方否决了这一提议”。

NATO Allies pledged to continue to provide support to Ukraine yesterday, by helping them to rebuild their gas and power infrastructure. The United States announced 53 million dollars to support the purchase of power grid equipment to Ukraine. The first shipment of 20,000 tons of Russian-produced fertilizer left the Netherlands for Malawi on Tuesday.The shipment is the first in a series of exports destined for Africa in the coming months. A spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that the donated Russian fertilizer will serve to alleviate humanitarian needs and preventcatastrophic【灾难性的】 crop losses.
