Hi everybody. My name is Annelie.I'm an ex IELTS examiner, and I would like to give you some tips today on doing your part to speaking.So the first thing I'd like to talk about is using very specific vocabulary.So one of the ways that you can get a high score for your vocabulary is that you use exactly the right word for that situation.So thinking about today we're going to talk about sports.We have different words for the different places that you play sports.So for example we have a basketball court but we have a golf course and we have a football pitch.So using that kind of very specific vocabulary is going to get you a high score.The other thing I'd like to talk about is trying to use a range of tenses in your part to answer.So sometimes you know you have to talk about something that happened in the past.but you can still have a situation where you talk about the past you talk about how things have changed you talk about how things are now , and that will allow you to show that you can use a range of tenses in your answer.So I'm going to give you an answer today this is just for reference ,The topic is described a popular place for sports for example a stadium that you have been to.So sports venues can be subjective but since I'm very keen on sports.I consider the basketball court in our school to be the sports place that I would like to talk about I've never been to a grand or a big sports venue.However I just love playing basketball I first experienced being on a basketball court when I was in high school.When a schoolmate asked me to join them playing I was a little skeptical at that time.until it became one of my favorite spots for leisure time activities from then on a hobby was developed.And it made me so excited after every class because I could go straight to the court and play basketball.Now I'm in college I still play a lot but not as much as I used to before personally it's benefited me a lot.Since I learned how to give my best shot in a competitive environment and also it gave me the opportunity to be a team player

As that is what basketball is all about whenever I'm on a basketball court I can't help but feel the excitement the energy and the adrenaline,which I think is quite euphoric and for me I could relate a basketball court to my life while I'm playing on it.
