[00:00:00.00]Chapter 3 The Neverland
[00:00:04.80]Wendy, John and Michael fly over cities, towns, mountains, forests and seas.
[00:00:15.20]Finally they see an island in the sea below them.
[00:00:19.80]"Look, that's Neverland," says Peter.
[00:00:23.00]"Neverland!" say the children.
[00:00:26.80]In Neverland the Lost Boys live in the forest in a secret underground home.
[00:00:34.50]There are six Lost Boys:
[00:00:37.10]Slightly Soiled, Tootles, Nibs,
[00:00:42.10]Curly and the Twins. They are waiting for Peter.
[00:00:47.90]Suddenly they hear the voices of the pirates.
[00:00:51.70]Nibs is very brave.
[00:00:54.30]He goes out, hides behind a tree and looks around him.
[00:01:00.90]He sees the horrible pirates.
[00:01:03.70]They are walking in the forest.
[00:01:06.20]They are big and ugly.
[00:01:09.40]Their pirate ship is the Jolly Roger.
[00:01:14.50]The pirates' captain is James Hook.
[00:01:18.40]He is a cruel pirate and a very bad man.
[00:01:23.20]He's got black eyes, black hair and a black beard.
[00:01:29.40]He hates Peter Pan.
[00:01:32.10]He's only got one arm: The other is a hook!
[00:01:37.60]In the past Peter Pan cut off Captain Hook's right arm during a fight.
[00:01:44.20]A crocodile ate the arm.
[00:01:47.30]Now the crocodile follows Captain Hook everywhere
[00:01:51.70]because he wants to eat him.
[00:01:54.60]The crocodile has a alarm clock in its stomach!
[00:01:58.40]Captain Hook can always hear it.
[00:02:01.90]"I know the Lost Boys live in this forest.
[00:02:05.80]We must find them and Peter Pan!" says Captain Hook.
[00:02:09.50]"Tick, tock, tick, tock!" Captain Hook hears the alarm clock.
[00:02:14.70]"Oh, no, the crocodile is coming to eat me!" says Captain Hook.
[00:02:19.30]He runs away and the pirates follow him.
[00:02:23.90]Soon some Indians arrive in the forest.
[00:02:28.10]They are looking for the pirates.
[00:02:30.70]The pirates are their enemy.
[00:02:33.60]Tiger Lily is their leader.
[00:02:36.40]She is the beautiful daughter of the Indian chief.
[00:02:40.30]She loves Peter Pan.
[00:02:43.20]Tinker Bell and Wendy love him too.
[00:02:46.90]The Indians go away
[00:02:48.90]and the Lost Boys return to play in the forest.
[00:02:53.60]Then Nibs looks at the sky and says,
[00:02:57.80]"Look, there is a lovely white bird in the sky."
[00:03:02.60]"Is it really a bird?"
[00:03:05.10]the Lost Boys ask.
[00:03:07.60]Tinker Bell says,
[00:03:09.50]"Yes, yes, it's a bird. It's a Wendy bird.
[00:03:13.40]You must shoot it!"
[00:03:15.20]Sometimes Tink is a bad fairy.
[00:03:19.10]She know it is Wendy, but she doesn't like her.
[00:03:24.50]Nibs takes his bow and arrow and shoots Wendy.
[00:03:29.70]Poor Wendy falls to the ground.
[00:03:32.90]The Lost Boys see Wendy and say, "She's not a bird! She's a lovely girl."
[00:03:40.10]Peter flies down with John and Michael and asks,
[00:03:44.40]"Where is Wendy?" Tootles says, "Here she is."
[00:03:50.20]Peter goes over to her and asks, "Wendy, are you all right?"
[00:03:55.90]Wendy slowly opens her eyes and smiles.
[00:04:01.00]"Yes, but I'm very tired," she says.
[00:04:05.50]The Lost Boys are sorry.
[00:04:08.00]They decide to build her a little house.
[00:04:11.20]When the house is ready Wendy says, "What a lovely little house! Thank you."
[00:04:18.20]"Can you be our mother now?
[00:04:20.30]Can you tell us bedtime stories before we go to bed?" asks Nibs.
[00:04:25.90]"Of course," says Wendy.
[00:04:28.70]"Come in and I can tell you the story of Cinderlla."
[00:04:33.00]They enter, sit down and listen to Wendy's story.
[00:04:38.00]It is a wonderful story.
[00:04:40.70]Peter Pan is outside the house with his sword.
[00:04:44.60]He wants to protect Wendy and the Lost Boys.
