A Kind Cat 一只善良的猫咪

There is a cat. His name is Jeff.

有只猫的名字叫杰夫。

He is big and strong. But He is not brave.

他长得又大又强壮，但是他却不勇敢。

He is scared of dogs and the dark.

杰夫很害怕狗和黑暗的地方。

He is even scared of the mice in his house.

他甚至害怕他的房子里有老鼠。

One day, it is sunny. Jeff takes a nap.

有一天，阳光灿烂。杰夫正在睡午觉。

The mice decide to take a walk. They do not see the cat.

老鼠们打算散步，不过他们都没有看到有只猫在那里。

Now, they see the cat.

现在他们看到那只猫了。

“Oh, no! It’s the big cat! “said the mice.

老鼠说：“喔不！是只大猫咪！”

The mice are scared. They run away.

老鼠们开始害怕起来，并逃跑了。

Jeff sees the mice. He is scared. He runs, too.

这时，杰夫看到老鼠们，他也很害怕，于是他也逃跑了。

A Baby Mouse is missing.

有只小老鼠迷路了。

"Waa! Waa!" he cries. "I want to go home! Help me, cat."

小老鼠大叫着：“哇！哇！我要回家！猫咪，请救我！”

"No! I am too scared." says Jeff.

“不！我好害怕。”杰夫说着。

"Waa! Waa! I want my mommy!" cries the Baby Mouse.

小老鼠叫着：“哇！哇！我要妈咪！”

Jeff feels sorry for the Baby Mouse and says,"Don't cry. I will help you."

杰夫对小老鼠感到很抱歉，并说：“别哭了，我会帮你的。”

Jeff carries him and goes down the dark stairs.

杰夫带着他走下了黑暗的楼道。

Jeff is scared. But he helps anyway.

杰夫很害怕，但是他还是帮助了小老鼠。

"Here is your mommy." Jeff says.

杰夫说：“你的妈咪在这里。”

"My baby!" says the Mother Mouse.

老鼠妈妈说：“我的宝贝！”

"Thank you! You are a kind and brave cat." says the Father Mouse.

老鼠爸爸说：“谢谢你！你是只善良又勇敢的猫。”
