Help the Lion帮助狮子

There was a lion in a jungle.

 丛林里有一只狮子。

Near his home was a pond.

狮子家附近有一个池塘。

Many animals came to the pond to drink water.

许多动物都会来到池塘喝水。
One day,the lion was sitting near the pond.

有一天，狮子坐在靠近池塘的地方。

He wanted to get something to eat.

他想要吃点东西。

Suddenly he found a big bone. 

突然间他发现了一个大骨头。

"Haha! What a luck! Now I can eat all I want."said the lion. 

狮子说：“哈哈！ 真好运！ 现在我可以吃我想要吃的东西了。”

He began to eat the bone.

他开始吃骨头。

But he thought,"I had better eat fast.I don't want to share with other animals."

但是狮子心里想着：“我最好快点吃。我不想分享给其他的动物吃。”

So,he chewed,faster and faster.

所以，他咀嚼地越来越快。
 The bone got stuck in his throat.

在匆忙之中，骨头卡在他的喉咙里。

"Oh!"cried the lion.

 狮子大叫：“喔”！

He tried to cough it out but in vain.

他试图咳出来但是徒劳无功。

Next,he tried to swallow it down but he failed. 
接下来，他试图吞下它，但他失败了。
“What shall I do now?"thought the lion. 

狮子心想：“我现在该怎么办？”                                                                                      After a few minutes, a rabbit came.

几分钟后，一只兔子来了。
The lion said to the rabbit, “My dear rabbit! Can you help me?”

狮子对兔子说：“亲爱的兔子！ 你能帮帮我吗？”
The rabbit took pity on the lion.

兔子对狮子表示同情。

He asked the lion to open his mouth.

他请狮子张大嘴巴。

The rabbit then put its head into the lion’s mouth and pulled out the bone. 
然后兔子把头伸进狮子的口中，并拔出骨头。
“Thank you so much! You are a kind rabbit." said the lion. 
狮子说： “非常的谢谢你！你真一只善良的兔子啊。”
