The Straits Times: A publisher here is recalling a Chinese textbook for Primary 2 pupils over an image of a bloody pentagram in the book. 
Japan Today: Publisher Sanseido KK is recalling 10,000 Japanese textbooks, which are used by many elementary schools in Tokyo, after an illustration showing a girl with three arms was mistakenly printed. 
The Guardian: An A-level textbook has been withdrawn after a youth worker raised the alarm about an “inappropriate” question asking whether the treatment of Native Americans had been exaggerated. 
ABC News: A northern Virginia school system said it is pulling two books from school libraries, including an illustrated memoir that contains explicit illustrations of sexual encounters involving children, after a parent expressed concern about them at a school board meeting.
