第一次收到让我非常开心的礼物......应该是一个男孩送给我的糖果组合，我非常喜欢这个。如果现在有人送我礼物，我也会非常开心。

The first time I said no. I imagine the first time I said no was quite young, actually. Well, according to my mum and dad, I said no as soon as I could speak, and didn’t do as I was told, so that was probably two or three, I imagine.

第一次说不。我第一次说不，其实是在我很小的时候。据我爸妈告诉我，我会说话的时候就会说不了，而且我很不听话，所以应该是我两三岁的时候。

The first thing I do after wrapping a shoot is collapse and sleep, and then try and catch up with family and friends, who I probably won’t have seen for, ah, you know...if I’ve been AWOL for a few months.

拍摄完的第一件事就是倒床睡觉，然后了解很久没见的亲朋们的近况，因为我可能消失了好几个月了。

Wow, the first film I ever fell in love with. There are several. I mean, I fell in love with Jurassic Park. I still love that film; every time it’s on TV, Ill happily watch it. It’s so good! Just everything about it: the suspense, the characters...Yes, Spielberg is a genius.

哇，我喜欢上的第一部电影。我喜欢的电影真的太多了，不过第一部是《侏罗纪公园》，直到现在我也很喜欢。每次电视上在播，我都会看的很开心。电影拍的真是太棒了，不管是故事悬念，角色等等，斯皮尔伯格真是个天才！

The first time I really dressed up after lockdown was, I went to the Cannes Film Festival and walked the red carpet there, which was quite a contrast with...I’d been in sweatpants and elasticated waists for, well, as long as... yeah, a long time. And then I was in heels on a red carpet and it was a bit overwhelming, but it also felt really nice to get dressed up.

疫情解封之后我第一次真正打扮，是在我去参加戛纳电影节走红毯，与我之前很长一段时间每天穿运动裤和松紧腰带裤形成鲜明对比。走红毯我穿着高跟鞋，感觉有点夸张，但是打扮的感觉确实很好。

The first time I felt like a superhero, I would have to say was when I put on my ‘super’ suit for the first time as Sersi and lined up with the other cast of Eternals on a clifftop, and we were all just checking each other’s suits out and it was very, very surreal; very strange.

第一次感觉自己像一个超级英雄，我不得不说是我扮演瑟西，第一次穿上我的“超级套装”和《永恒族》其他演员排成一列站在悬崖旁的时候，我们都在帮对方检查服装，非常的超现实，非常奇怪。

Pick ‘n’ mix （pick-and-mix）

a system in a shop where you can choose a few of several different small things, especially sweets 自己选配（指在商店里挑选多种小商品，尤指糖果）

You can also pick and mix your fruit and veg bag.

你还可以自己选配装水果和蔬菜的袋子。

AWOL

abbreviation for absent without leave: used to say that a member of the armedforces is away without permission 擅离职守的（absent without leave的缩写）

The pilot is serving 22 days' detention for going AWOL.
