小锐的回答 transcript:

1）I’d like to share with you one of my favorite street markets in Wuhan where I grew up. It’s called Hubu Alley and it’s a popular point of interest for both us locals and tourists. This alley is like a century-old in 150 meters long, filled up with all kinds of snacks and street food.

2）I used to go there to have brunch with my classmates like almost every weekend before I move out of Wuhan. And then the last time I visited was back in the summer of 2019 with my husband and kids for our summer vacation.

3）You know, Wuhan locals rarely prepare breakfast at home, since we have a wide selection of street food readily available. My husband is a big fan of Wuhan style breakfast and snacks, like hot and dry noodle with sesame paste, soup dumplings, Chinese salty doughnut, and spicy duck’s neck. So, every time we go back for holiday, we almost always went to a street food market for breakfast or lunch.

4）You know, I’m a big foodie of our delicious local food, so this experience was indescribable.I regret that I only have one stomach but not five. As for my husband, he fell in love with Wuhan style hot and dry noodles as quickly as he fell in love with me. He would gobble down a big bowl of it in a few minutes while slurping on his favorite rice wine with small riceballs in it. My kids were a big fan of Xinjiang lamb skewers so we bought a fewsticks for them. Everybody was over the moon indulging ourselves in our local delicacies. For me, it’s the taste of home that I reminisce over whenever I’m hungry or homesick.
