小锐的回答 transcript:

1) I have a number of favorite singers who touched my heart inone way or another, but one particular singer, with his extraordinary musical talent, showed me that music is the greatest weapon against unhappiness. He is Jason Mraz, an American pop star, songwriter and guitarist.

2) Initially, his iconic songs like I’m yours, Lucky and Life is Wonderful caught my attention while I was working as a consultant in New York city. My job was extremely stressful back then and I was struggling to climb the social ladder in a competitive foreign city, so when I was not talking to myclients, I like to listen to some random songs just to relax my nerves.

3) Every once in a while, the songs from Jason Mraz caught on. His sweet and tender voice always sounded so cheerful and full of love. His powerful blend of feel-good rhythms, sincerelyrics and remarkable vocal can bring me goose bumps and just leave me dazed.  His songs are so soothing that they ease off many things and brought me good vibes!

4) Later on, I watched a bunch of his live shows and interviews, I was completely swooned by his sappy, sweet and naivevision of what the world could be. I love it that he carried the message around by saying that “love is still theanswer”. He said that he wrote the kind of songs that are transformative and can awaken his own heart as well as those of the listeners, so as to remind us to be grateful and to simply create acts of love to everyone around us. I think his words really nailed life in its glory. His optimism may feel out of place in a world that can be grim at times, yet I continued to be inspired by his music, his modesty, and his philosophy of life. Even today I keep his message in my heart that life is still wonderful despite of global crisis.
