My biggest flaw is that I have a tendency to be arrogant – some say I have a superiority complex (consider myself superior to others). I’ll admit that it is hard for me to swallow my pride (stop being arrogant) and recognize when I've been mistaken about something. My resolution for the New Year is to make a more concerted effort to put others first(consider the needs of other people more important than my own). 我最大的缺点是我有一种傲慢的倾向——有人说我有一种优越感(认为自己比别人优越)。我承认，当我在某些事情上犯错时，我很难放下我的骄傲(停止傲慢)并意识到这一点。我的新年决心是齐心协力把别人的利益放在第一位(把别人的需要看得比我自己的更重要)。

Feelings(1) 

I experienced a roller coaster of emotions when my son was born (many different emotions one after another). During my wife’s pregnancy, I was ridiculously excited about the prospect of becoming a dad. On the big day, I’d imagined that everything would go smoothly and we’d be blissfully happy.我儿子出生时，我的情绪就像坐过山车一样(很多不同的情绪一个接一个)。在我妻子怀孕期间，一想到要当爸爸，我就兴奋得不可思议。在那个大日子里，我原以为一切都会很顺利，我们会无比幸福。
