Build a life, don't live one

Everything around us that we call life was made up by people that are no smarter than you. So build a life. Don't live one. Build one.

生活都是由那些比你聪明不了多少的人创造的。所以，去创造一种属于你自己的生活吧！不要按照别人的方式生活。

My father could have been a great comedian, but he didn't believe that that was possible for him. 

我的父亲本可以成为一个伟大的喜剧演员，但是他不相信自己，认为那不可能。

I learned many great lessons from my father, not the least of which was that you can fail at what you don't want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.

我从我父亲身上学到很多，其中很重要的一条是：即使做你不喜欢的事情，你也会失败，所以为什么不试一试做你所热爱的事情呢？

You have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future, because believing that the dots will connect down the road, will give you the confidence to follow your heart even when it leads you off the well-worn path, and that will make all the difference.

你要相信，当下的点点滴滴在未来会以某种形式连接起来。相信这些点点滴滴会慢慢相互连接。即便你走了一条非同寻常的路线，它也会让你有信心跟随自己的内心，同时这也将会使一切变得不同。
