Rafael Nadal demolished Novak Djokovic 6-0, 6-2, 7-5 to win his 13th French Open on Sunday and equal the all-time record of 20 Grand Slam titles held by Roger Federer, who hailed the victory as "one of sport's greatest achievements".

China's Shenzhen will issue 10 million yuan worth of digital currency in a pilot program to promote the application of the new form of currency. 

中国深圳将试点发放价值1000万元的数字货币，以推动这种新型货币形式的应用。

The program, in collaboration with the People's Bank of China, will issue the currency in 50,000 "red envelopes" worth 200 yuan each via a random draw. Shenzhen residents can apply to participate in the draw starting Friday. 

该项目是与中国人民银行联合开展的，将通过抽签的方式发行5万个"红包"， 每个红包金额为200元。自10月9日起，深圳市民可申请参与抽签活动。

The winners will be notified on Monday and can download an app to receive their red envelopes. The money can be used for shopping in designated businesses in Shenzhen's district of Luohu, which funded the program.

45种野生动物禁止养殖

Captive breeding of 45 types of wild animals, including bamboo rats, will be phased out by the end of this year, the National Forestry and Grassland Administration said recently. 

国家林草局近日发布通知，对竹鼠等45种野生动物，今年年底前将停止养殖活动。

The administration released a notification classifying 64 wild animals that are banned from consumption in two catalogs to further manage wild animal breeding and guide breeders to explore other business opportunities. 

通知对64种禁食野生动物提出了分类管理要求，进一步加强对野生动物养殖的管理，指导养殖户转产转型。

The first catalog includes 45 animals, including bamboo rats, masked palm civets, porcupines and green bamboo snakes, with farms raising them to be closed by the end of this year. Local forestry departments will only certify a very limited number of farms raising the 45 animals for the purpose of keeping the species alive, the notification said. 

第一类包括竹鼠、果子狸、豪猪和竹叶青蛇等在内的45种野生动物，"除适量保留种源等特殊情形外，在今年年底之前引导养殖户停止养殖"。

Another 19 wild animals, including hedgehogs, guinea pigs, nutrias and cobras, will be allowed to be raised in farms, but stricter regulation of farming and quarantine inspections will be required. While consumption of the second group of 19 animals is banned, they can be raised for species protection, scientific study, medical use and the pet industry.

包括刺猬、豚鼠、海狸鼠和眼镜王蛇在内的其他19种野生动物，禁止以食用为目的的养殖活动，允许用于物种保留、科研、药用以及宠物展示等非食用性目的的养殖，但需严格落实农业监督管理和防疫检疫相关要求。

Chinese internet search giant Baidu Inc announced on Sunday night it has fully opened Apollo Go Robotaxi, its self-driving taxi service, to the public in Beijing, becoming the first company to carry passengers in autonomous vehicles in the capital. 

国内互联网搜索巨头百度公司10月11日晚宣布，其自动驾驶出租车服务Apollo Go在北京全面向公众开放，成为北京首家以自动驾驶汽车载客的公司。

With a fleet of 40 vehicles, the service covers the largest total area and the longest road network of about 700 kilometers for an autonomous driving test area in China. 

百度共投放40辆自动驾驶出租车，测试区域总长度约700公里，是全国开放区域最广、测试里程最长的自动驾驶载人测试。

It has established nearly 100 pick-up and drop-off stations in residential and business areas in the Yizhuang, Haidian and Shunyi districts of Beijing. 

目前百度已在北京市亦庄、海淀、顺义的居民区和商业区建立了近100个上下车站点。

Passengers in Beijing can hail autonomous cabs free of charge via the Baidu Maps or Apollo Go apps without a reservation.
