17 常见介词的用法比较

1、in、on和at

1)in表示较长时间，如年、月、日、周、季节、上午、下午等

 in a year 在一年中

 in the twentieth century 在20世纪

 in two weeks 在两周内

 in the morning 在上午

2)on表示特定的某一天，表示某一天的早晨、中午或晚上

on a cold night 在一个寒冷的夜晚

on the moming of March 10th 在3月10日上午

on Christmas/Thanksgiving Day

3)at表示某一时刻、进餐的时间、一天中的某个时间点（如日出等）

at seven o'clock 在7点钟

at breakfast/table 在吃早饭/在吃饭

at noon/sunrise/midnight 在正午/日出时/午夜

2、in, on和to

1)in表示在某一范围内

China is in the east of Asia.中国在亚洲东部。

2)on表示接壤或相邻，却互不管辖

Henan Province is on the south of Hebei.河南省在河北省的南部。

3)to表示在某范围外，互不接壤，互不管辖

Beijing is to the northeast of Shijazhuang .北京在石家庄的东北部。

3、above,on和over

1)above泛指“在……的上方”，反义词是below

His office is above ours.他们的办公室在我们的办公室的上面。

2)on表示在接触的上方

He is lying on his bed.他躺在他的床上。

3)over表示在不接触的正上方，反义词below

There is a bridge over the river.河上有座桥。

4、through,across,pass和over

1)through表示从内部穿过

She smiled at him as he walked through the door.

他从门口进来时，她朝他笑了。

2)across表示从表面横穿

They ran straight across the road.

他们径直跑过了马路。

3)past表示从旁边经过

He waved as he drovepast

他开车经过的时候挥了挥手。

4)over表示从表面跨过

Somehow, the sheephad jumped over the fence.

不知怎得，那只羊跳过了围栏。

5、besides,except,except for和apart from

1)besides表示“除了……之外还有”，其后的宾语被包括在内

Besides working as doctor, he also writes novles in his spare time.

除了当医生之外，他在业余时间还写小说。

2)except表示“除去，不包括”，其后的宾语被排除在外，被排除的内容与主语是同一类的

We work every day except Sunday.

我们除星期天外每天都工作。

3)except for表示“除去，不包括”，但是被排除的内容与主语不是同一类的，指从整体中除去一个细节或一个方面

She felt fine except for being a little tired.

她感觉很好，只是有点累。
