小笨笨飞行记

Mother eagle has three little eagles.

老鹰妈妈有三个小鹰宝宝。

Two of them are neat and careful. But one of them is not.

它们中的两个非常的整洁和小心。但是另一个不是这样。

Clumsy eagle wreaks havoc wherever he goes.

笨拙的小鹰宝宝走到哪儿都会搞点小破坏。

On the beach he trips and lands on an unsuspecting seal, who isnot very pleased.

在海滩边，它绊倒在了一只毫无防备的海豹身上，搞得海豹很不高兴。

At home, he tears a hole in the nest. He knocks a meal right outof his sister's beak.

在家里，它把自己的窝撕开了一个洞，一下子从姐姐嘴边把食物给戳走了。

"I'm sorry," he says. "I meant to be morecareful!"

“对不起”他说，“我应该更加小心的”

Then as he tries to clean up the mess, he treads on his brother'shead.

然后，当它试着来收拾残局的时候，他踩到了他哥哥的头。

"I'm sorry," he says. "I really did mean to be morecareful!"

“不好意思啊”他说，“我真的应该更加小心的。”

His mother surveys the nest. She glances at the beach.

他妈妈查看了一下他们的窝，又看了看海滩。

"Oh, clumsy eagle," she sighs. "I dread the day youlearn to fly!"

“噢，我笨拙的宝贝”她叹息道，“我不敢想象你学习飞行的那天！”

But the big day gets nearer and nearer. The weather is ideal.

但这个大日子越来越近了。当时的天气非常适合飞行。

The sun is gleaming. The sea is still. Clumsy eagle perchesshakily on a breaker.

太阳散发着微光，海面很平静，笨拙的小鹰宝宝颤巍巍的来到了海边。

"Please be careful!" his mother entreats. "Lookstraight ahead!" squeal his siblings.

“一定要小心啊！”她妈妈恳求道。他的兄弟姐妹也尖叫道：“看向前方！”

"Not in my direction!" pleads the fearful seal.

旁边恐惧的海豹哀求道：“可不是朝着我的方向啊！”

Clumsy eagle takes a deep breath. He spreads his wings.

笨拙的小鹰宝宝做了一次深呼吸，然后展开了他的翅膀。

He reaches up to the sky and leaps...

他飞向了空中，又来了一个加速。

Wow! Clumsy eagle weaves through the clouds. He swoops over thebeach.

哇，笨拙的小鹰宝宝穿梭在云间，又俯冲过海滩。

The onlookers beam with delight because clumsy eagle is great atflying.

旁观者们都高兴地笑了，看来笨拙的小鹰宝宝很擅长飞行啊！
