穿越北半球

The geese gather, making ready for a great journey.

大雁们聚集在一起，准备开始一段伟大的旅程。

Now that winter has come to the north, the vegetation is sparseand snow lies on the ground.

因为现在北半球的冬天来了，植被渐渐变得越来越稀疏，地上开始布满了积雪。

The geese gather at the top of a crevasse to fly south for thewinter.

大雁们聚集在悬崖边，开始准备飞向南方过冬。

They will fly south until they find a place with more food andwarmer weather.

他们会一直往南飞，一直飞到他们找到一个温暖又食物丰富的地方。

The cold winds chase them away as they fly in dense groups,leaving before the weather gets worse.

他们在天气变冷前，成群结队的飞向南方，冷空气追逐着他们的脚步。

They travel over snow and water, and little else.

他们飞越了雪地和湖泊，还有很多其他的地方。

Their wings pulse and beat against the wind.

他们扑闪着翅膀，迎着风飞翔。

As they fly south, the air grows warmer and the terrain grows morediverse.

当他们向南飞时，空气变得更加暖和，地形也变得更加多样化。

Soon, they see coarse grass, gorse and heather.

很快，他们看到了大片的草丛，几只金丝雀和一些石南花。

Still, they fly with purpose, keeping their course.

尽管如此，它们还是朝着目的地飞行，保持着既定的航线。

The geese sense their way south, seeking the warm plains.

大雁一直朝着南飞，寻找着温暖的平原。

And finally, after their immense journey, over the vast expanse ofthe globe, they arrive in a copse.

最后，经过他们漫长的旅程之后，在浩瀚的地球上终于找到了一个好地方，他们来到了一片树林。

They rinse their tired bodies and immerse themselves in the water.

他们把疲惫的身体冲洗干净，然后让自己浸入水中休息。

Here, food is not sparse, it is plentiful, and the geese honkhappily.

在这里，食物并不稀缺，食物很充足，大雁叫得很欢。

They will stay here, where it's warm, until summer comes to thenorth again.

他们会待在这里，因为这里很暖和，一直到北半球的夏天再次来临。

Then, they will fly the whole journey again, in reverse.

到时候，他们会返程，向北重复一遍这次伟大的旅程。
