A: It seems that whatever you touch turns to gold — your last movie was a great success. So will be your next one. Tell me about it. What will it be about?

题在我以往的影片中不常涉及。光写剧本就花了我五年时间,但能实现梦想令人很高

And it's interesting and sobering for me to sit in the Third World, watching the
Old and New Worlds argue about how European movies have no values and American movies have no culture. And I worry about the influence Hollywood has on the young people in China.
I think we need to make our own movies and do a better job of protesting our industry.
A:您最想让人们记住您的影片的那些方面?
B: The visual spectacle. I've tried using realism in movies before, in the cinematography. But I am most in love with the Chinese style of visual presentation. If in 20 years, after I've made a lot more movies, they write one sentence about me in a textbook, I'd be satisfied if they said:
"The style is strong visual presentation in a distinctly Chinese fashion."

B: It's an ordinary art movie, a little different from my previous works. It's about the
relationship between a father and a son, which is a theme I haven' explored very often in the past movies. It took me five years to write it, but I'm so happy I can realize a dream. Now I only hope that the audience will like it.

京剧是中国的国粹,已有200年的历史。京剧的产生要从微戏说起。清乾隆五十五年: (1770年),安徽的四大地方戏班先后进京献艺,获得空前成功。徽班常与水自湖北的汉调艺人合作演出。于是一种兼收昆曲、秦腔、梆子等地方戏精华的新剧种延生了。这就是京剧。在200 年的发展历程中,京剧在唱词、念白及字韵上越来越北京化,使用的二胡、京胡等乐器,也融合了多个民族的发明,终于成为一种成熟的艺术。

京剧有“文戏”和“武戏”之分。“文戏”的特点是“唱”多,而“武戏”则“打”多。而有的戏是两者兼有。基本的表演形式有唱、念、做、打。

京剧中的“生、旦、净、丑”其实不过是角色分类。“生”是男性正面角色,“旦”是女性正面角色,“净”是性格鲜明的男性配角,“丑”是幽默滑稽或反面角色。每种角色又有表明身份的脸谱、扮相等,只要演员一上场,你一望便知。

在人的脸上涂上某种颜色以象征这个人的性格和品质、角色和命运,是京剧的一大特点,也是理解剧情的关键。简单地讲,红脸含有褒义,代表忠勇;黑脸为中性,代表
猛智;蓝脸和绿脸也为中性,代表草莽英雄;黄脸和白脸含贬义,代表凶诈;金脸和银脸代表神秘、神妖。

京剧的剧目主要取材自传说、重要历史事件,剧中的人物有皇帝、大豆、将军、才
子、佳人等。时间跨度上起古代的尧、舜、禹、春秋战国,下承秦汉隋唐宋元明清各朝。

业余的演员称为 “票友”。在众多的“票友”中不乏大名鼎鼎者,这其中包括清朝的光绪皇帝,他不但会唱戏,还能司鼓。慈禧太后则是一个大戏迷。在今日颐和园内还保留着一座当时中国最大的戏院。该戏楼高 21 米,共有三层,可见她在京剧上花了不少的工夫。

自从京剧大师梅兰芳1919年访日以来,京剧越来越受到全世界人们的喜爱。它在促进中西文化交流,增进中国人民和世界各国人民友谊和了解方面做出了应有的贡献。

Peking Opera is a national treasure of China with a history of 200 years. It originated from Anhui opera. In the 55th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Oing Dynasty (1790),four local opera troupes from Anhui Province came to the imperial court in Beijing on a performance tour and gained an unprecedented success. 
The Anhui troupes often co-performed
with Han Dialect artists from Hubei Province and gave birth to Peking opera, a new dramatic form drawing on all the essence of Kun Qu, Qin Qiang, Bang Zi and other local operas. 
In its 200 years of development, Peking Opera has more and more been localized and acquired characteristics of Beijing dialect in singing, dialogue making as well as rhyming. And the inusical instruments used on Peking opera like Erhu and linghu, are blendings of inventions, from many different nationalities. Peking opera finally emerged as a mature art form.
