Shenzhen is a seaboard tourism city in South China. The average temperature there is 22. 4 C. There are greens and flowers throughout the year. It was rated"International Garden City” by UN, and is a winner of "Global 500 Environment Award.” There are many places worth seeing, like Window of the World Theme Park, Folk Culture Village, Splendid China Theme Park, Happy valley, World of Minsike Aircraft Carrier, and beach parks. Shenzhen has over 40 sites of ancient culture legacy, gourmet food from all over China, and markets with abundant commodities. Each year tens of millions of visitors come for tours, sightseeing and shopping.
Shenzhen is a dity with a seaport, an airport and inland ports. It is linked to the world by 106 international container shipping routes 148 domestic air routes, and 11 international air routes. With inland ports directly connected to Hong Kong at Luohu, Huanggang, and Wenjindu, it is a large "central station" between Hong Kong and other inland Chinese cities, and an express entrance to the Zhujiang Delta. It plays an important role in commodity and information centralizing and dissemination.
Last year, over 100 exhibitions were hosted in Shenzhen and the total exhibition area exceeded one million square meters. Every year, famous international exhibitions, such as China Hi-tech Fair, open in Shenzhen, and the number of exhibitions is-steadygrowing. To create a better environment for the development of the exhibition sector, the Shenzhen municipal government announced preferential policies to support organizations holding exhibitions in Shenzhen.
Now I’d like to give a brief introduction to Shenzhen Convention Exhibition Center.
This Center is a super large public onstruction with multi-functions of hosting exhibitions and conventions, business activities, restaurants, and entertainment events! Invested by the Shenzhen municipal government, and designed by GMP, a German company, it is located in the downtown area of the city. It is the largest single building in Shenzhen, covering about 220,000 square meters, extending 540 meters from east to west, 282 meters wide from south to north. The building lands up to 60 meters, including six floors above the ground level and two floors beneath it. The total construction area tops 280, 000 square meters. Shenzhen Convention Exhibition Center has very powerful and advanced functions in terms of hosting exhibitions and conventions. There are nine exhibition halls on the first floor. which total 105, 000 square meters, adequate for a large exhibition of 5, 000 international-standard booths. The largest hall is around 30,000 square meters. It has 25 meeting rooms of different shapes and sizes, and a multi-function hall to accommodate about 3, 000 people.
Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center is at the south end of the middle axis of the city's downtown area. It is the landmark in CBD, just remotely symmetric with CAB, merely 1,000 meters away to the City Hall—the Citizen Center. Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center is on the northern side of Binhe Express Way, which links to freeways and important ports. It is only 15 minutes' drive from Shenzhen Railway Station, and 30 minutes from the airport. Subway Line I and Line 4 are interchangeable at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center station, which is only 150 meters away through an underground passage. In addition, it is also the stop of a dozen bus lines.
You may find many star-rated hotels five to 20 minutes’ walk away from the Center, which includes Wuzhou Guest House, Grand View Hotel, Investment Plaza, Qinian Hotel, Shangri-la, and Sheraton, etc. In its neighborhood, you can find parks and Huaqiang North Commercial Ring where leisure, shopping, food services are available.
Doubtlessly, Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center is an ideal choice for exhibitions, conferences, celebrations, ceremonies, and all kinds of shows.

The photographers chosen for this exhibition have succeeded in capturing the awe that World Heritage sites inspire the amazement that the beauty, diversity and ingenuity of our world's outstanding natural and cultural heritage instills. Their photographs also remind us of the fragility of our planet and the urgency of protecting these sites in order to ensure that they will continue to enchant future generations.
