像只小鸟飞飞飞

There is a little caterpillar named Jim.

有一只毛毛虫，他的名字叫做吉姆。

He lies on the grass and cries, "Mum flies, dad flies, but not me."

他躺在草地上哭：“爸爸妈妈都在飞，但是我却飞不起来。”

Jim sees a dove and cries, "Dove flies, but not me."

吉姆看到一只鸽子，他很伤心：“鸽子会飞，但我不会。”

"I will help!" said Tina the witch.

“我来帮你吧！”小女巫蒂娜说。

Tina makes a pie from dried vegetables and fried meat.

蒂娜用干蔬菜片和烤肉做成了一个饼。

"Fee, fie!" cries Tina. And she casts a spell on the pie.

蒂娜念叨着给这个饼加上了一个咒语。

Jim eats the pie and he flies up to the sky.

吉姆吃了这个饼，然后他真的飞到了天上。

"Mummy, daddy," Jim cries, "I can fly like a bird!"

吉姆激动地说：“妈妈，爸爸，我可以像只小鸟一样飞啦！”

"The spell will not last long." Tina replies.

蒂娜说：“这个咒语不会维持很长时间。”

The spell dies. And Jim drops from the sky on the grass

咒语消失了，吉姆从天上又掉回到了草地上。

"I wish I was still on the sky." Jim cries.

“我好想我还能在天上飞啊。”吉姆说。

"Just keep trying and never give up!" his mummy replies.

“只要坚持努力，不要放弃！”他的妈妈回答说。

A few days later, Jim grows into a butterfly. He flaps his wing and flies up to the sky!

几天以后，吉姆长成了一只小蝴蝶。他扇动了翅膀，一下就飞到了天上去。
