Frozen


Brief Introduction:


在一个峡湾环抱的山谷中，坐落着美丽的阿伦黛尔王国。在阿伦黛尔王国的高山上，工人们一边辛勤采冰，一边唱着采冰人号子。他们采来的冰块将被运到山下的村庄去售卖。村庄里有一个名叫克里斯托夫的小男孩，他有一只可爱的驯鹿，名叫斯温。克里斯托夫一直梦想着有一天能成为真正的采冰人。我们的故事就从这个小男孩开始了……


Prologue


Long ago, atop (在…顶上) a mountain high above the kingdom of Arendelle (阿伦黛尔王国), a group of strong men were hard at work. They were ice harvesters (采集者), men who cut and hauled (运送) huge blocks (块) of ice from the mountain lakes. Horses stood at attention (肃立，立正), waiting with empty wagons (马车) to be filled. The ice blocks were hoisted (抬起) into the wagons; soon they would be taken down to the village to sell. It was a dangerous business. One slip (失足) could send a block hurtling (猛冲) down the mountainside (山腰)—or even worse, falling on a man and crushing him. 


A boy stood in the shadows watching the workmen (工人). He kept a small sled (雪橇) at his side. His name was Kristoff (克里斯托夫), and he desperately (极度地) wanted to join the ice harvesters, but he was too young. Standing next to him was his friend Sven (斯温), a baby reindeer (驯鹿). Kristoff imagined the two of them taking a sled full of ice blocks into the village of Arendelle. Sven sniffed (闻) the cold air and glanced at (瞥一眼) the big blocks of ice. They looked very heavy. He snorted (喷响鼻子) but didn’t move a hoof (蹄子). 


As evening approached (当夜幕降临), Kristoff finally convinced (使信服) Sven to carry a small load (装载量) of ice on their sled. By now, the men had lit several lanterns (灯笼) and were finishing loading (装载) their own wagons. Kristoff crept (慢慢移动) forward and was able to grab a small block of ice. He finally wrestled (用力搬运) the block onto his sled and attached (系) Sven’s harness (挽具). 


Wagon by wagon, the ice harvesters headed down the mountain roads. Kristoff trailed (跟随) behind with Sven, steering (驾驶) his own small wagon down the bumpy (崎岖的) path. 


Above them all, the northern lights (北极光) spread across the dark sky, creating waves of gossamer (如蛛丝般的) green light. The magical glow (光) pulsed (搏动) as it rolled (滚动) over the mountains, down toward the kingdom below.
